How to write game prompts that get great results
Five simple rules for describing a game so the AI builds what you imagine on the first try.
1. Name the action
Say what the player does with their finger: drag, tap, swipe or hold. "Drag to steer a spaceship" is clearer than "a spaceship game".
2. Name the danger and the reward
Games are about risk and reward. "Dodge meteors, collect crystals" gives the AI everything it needs to build tension and a score.
3. Add one twist
A twist makes your game feel unique: "gravity flips every 10 seconds", "the boss gets angry at half health", "coins turn into a magnet power-up".
4. Pick a look
A style word changes everything: neon, pixel art, candy, underwater, retro arcade, space. One word is enough.
5. Change one thing at a time
When you upgrade your game, ask for one change per message. "Make it night" then "Add rain" works better than a long list in a single message.
Type your idea, tap send, play it in seconds.
